Wireless monitoring is an excellent complement to busway systems as both approaches emphasize flexibility and ease of deployment. Packet Power and Universal Electric Corporation have teamed up to make it possible to get Packet Power's wireless power monitoring built into the popular Starline busway data center power distribution system.
Packet Power's power monitoring can be built into the Starline tap-off box (as shown on the left) at Universal Electric's factory or integrated as a smart drop cable. Drop cable integration can be done at the factory, at Packet Power or in the field. Monitoring is available on single phase and three-phase circuits from 16 to 250 amps, and the data can be accessed through Packet Power's EMX Energy Portal software or via other applications using either SNMP or Modbus interfaces.
Factory-integrated units are available in many countries directly from Universal Electric and its distribution partners, and field-integrated units can be purchased from Packet Power and its partners.
Starline is a registered trademark of Universal Electric Corporation.
